Vending Inventory - a service that continuously searches for files placed on the server by the vending machine containing vending transactions and processes those transactions to update inventory and follow implemented business logic to send low quantity email warnings. There are several web pages dedicated to supporting the vending machine configuration, inventory, and displaying the vending machine transactions.
Training/Certification Tracking - project includes a rich set of web pages dedicated to scheduling training courses and certification exams. A windows application has also been provided that imports certification exam results into the system.
Whirlpool is a manufacturer of large and small appliances. ZTI has provided label printing software in several plants. The software prints serial plates and carton tags for dryers, washers, and small appliances such as stand mixers, in both on-line and offline modes The systems were written primarily in VB with both SQL Server and Access backends.
Muncie Novelty is a manufacturer of tickets and fundraising games. ZTI provided several systems, including a tracking system for production which tracks all serial numbers produced. State regulation requires serial number information to be maintained for at least 3 years. Currently, there are over 9 million serial numbers recorded in the system. The system is an N-Tier system built on COM, using a SQL Server backend.
